Case Study: Using Churn Analysis to Craft Targeted Offers Results in +24% Subscription Revenue
Is your team looking for opportunities to increase recurring revenue with existing autoship orders and subscribers? Do your customers love your products but don’t seem to stay subscribed and end up pausing or canceling after just 1 or 2 subscription orders?
In this case study, we take a look at how Cured Nutrition, a wellness brand that creates supplements to support sleep, balance stress, and improve focus, took their Subscribe & Save program to the next level by using Churn Analysis reports in Autoship Cloud powered by QPilot to reveal a specific moment when subscribers were canceling and launch a targeted growth experiment that improved retention over 16% and lifted recurring revenue over 24%.

Performance Improvements: Speed Increases that Improve Your Experience, Subscribers, and Developers
Ensuring the best experience for your team and your subscribers is an ongoing priority for our team and, over the past month, our engineers have been delivering and measuring many “under the hood” improvements targeting this priority.
We’ve seen excellent results so far! Below is a quick rundown of the most critical areas that we have improved since the beginning of the year (Jan 2024) compared to April 2024.
30% Speed Increase to API Response Time: the speed at which the QPilot API responds to all requests has improved by over 30% since the beginning of this year. Also, we’ve observed a healthy low number of errors across all API requests: less than 3 errors out of every 1,000 requests. While this benefited the developer experience of our API, it also lifted the performance of our integrations and many features that rely on the API.
100% Speed Increase to Scheduled Orders: the speed at which Scheduled Orders show in the Merchant Center and to Subscribers within your Online Store has doubled on average since the beginning of the year.
200% Speed Increase to Reports: the speed at which Reports (like Products by Date or Customer Metrics) load and display data for Merchants has increased by over 200% and most reports now load within 2 seconds on average.
500% Increase to QPilot Merchant Center Loading Speed: the average speed at which the Merchant Center loads and the speed at which pages load for Admins in Shopify and WooCommerce has been massively improved since the beginning of the year. The Merchant Center itself currently loads within 1-2 seconds on average.
Autoship Cloud for Shopify: Shipping Features Now Supported for Stores Outside of the USA
From real-time shipping updates for Scheduled Orders to shipping carrier integrations, and advanced shipping rules that enable local pickup, shipping zones, and even Scheduled Orders with multiple shipping rates, Autoship Cloud powered by QPilot is well known for its unique features that make the Shipping & Delivery of Scheduled Orders to your subscribers a truly flexible experience.
Shopify subscription brands have had a particularly hard road dealing with the lack of built-in features for shipping & delivering subscription orders.
We’re proud to be a unique solution in the Shopify ecosystem that delivers true flexibility for Autoship Merchants, and have improved our integration to enable Shopify Stores outside of the United States to use our Shipping Integrations and Rates as well.
Updated shipping features simply “work” out-of-the-box for international stores, but if you’re looking for support or suggestions with your International Shipping (or any subscription shipping questions for that matter), please get in touch with us! Coming Soon to Autoship Cloud for Shopify:
New Subscriber Portal: we are developing and testing a new Subscriber Portal experience that greatly improves the subscriber experience, unlocks new features for making quick changes to upcoming Scheduled Orders, and does not rely on iFrames to display within your Online Store! If you’d like to receive updates about this feature while it is still in development and testing, please send us a chat or email message at https://support.autoship.cloud and we’ll follow up!
Autoship Cloud for WooCommerce: Plugin Version 2.6.0 Adds Support for Cart and Checkout Blocks
WooCommerce Cart and Checkout blocks give you a seamless checkout and order confirmation experience out-of-the-box.
The Cart Block and Checkout Block elements are now standard for any stores running WooCommerce Version 8.3+ and are really easy to use: simply create a new page for your Cart and drop the Cart Block into the page, or create a new page for your Checkout and add the Checkout Block – and voila!
We love that these Block elements are growing in popularity with WooCommerce stores and, in our most recent update to the Autoship Cloud powered by QPilot plugin (version 2.6.0 published on April 4, 2024), we added new functions and updates that support the Cart and Checkout Block elements.
👀 Note: Block elements have been a feature of WordPress for over a year, but they are relatively new to WooCommerce. Some features of Autoship Cloud may not be displayed in all Block elements. We will continue to test and respond to feedback about additional block element features that are likely to be added by WooCommerce in the near future. In particular, WooCommerce will likely add more properties to the Cart block that we can then integrate with Autoship Cloud.
Coming Soon to Autoship Cloud for WooCommerce:
Upsell Products Carousel for the Native UI Display Option: we’re developing and testing a new option for the Native UI that displays a carousel of products that can be added directly to an existing Scheduled Order. This feature request will enable new opportunities for marketers to “upsell” products to their subscribers when they are viewing and making changes to their upcoming Scheduled Orders!
- What’s the Native UI? The Native UI is a collection of WordPress templates that displays upcoming Scheduled Orders to your customers in My Account. This makes the Subscriber Portal experience look like your WordPress theme and is completely customizable by WordPress Developers.
New Subscriber Portal: Not using the Native UI? We are developing and testing a new Subscriber Portal experience that greatly improves the subscriber experience, unlocks new features for making quick changes to upcoming Scheduled Orders, and does not rely on iFrames to display within your Online Store! If you’d like to receive updates about this feature while it is still in development and testing, please send us a chat or email message at https://support.autoship.cloud and we’ll follow up!
